Myrrh

The scent of myrrh comes from the resin of the Commiphora myrrh tree, which is native to North Africa and the Middle East. It’s a rich balsamic aroma with hints of warm, savory notes and a slightly sweet undertone. Also, the aroma is strong, bright, which can be overwhelming if used in excess. It is often used as a base note in perfumes to add depth and warmth to the scent.
